It's been a great experience, a good fit for what I do -- playing lots of songs and taking requests -- and it has forced me to expand my repertoire. The owner wanted a lot of upbeat hard rock, so I've added songs from The Rolling Stones to Tom Petty, Nirvana and Oasis to Twenty One Pilots and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Of course, I fit in my favs, including Tiny Dancer by Elton John, Brown-Eyed Girl and older Springsteen. Playing most Thursday nights.Larry Eberttag:larryebertmusic.com,2005:Post/45182332016-12-19T23:02:23-08:002023-12-10T08:41:24-08:00Outdoor and Indoor concertsA lot of concerts and events this year, including a beautiful outdoor concert in Los Altos Hills in May. Performed with the trio in the photo: Sujata Subramanian, Arthur Williams and I. Another highlight was the Unity in Diversity concert at TheLaundry SF, a cool new venue in the Mission dedicated to fostering creativity and collaboration. Delighted to play with Sujata and with Madhabika Nayak, Khalil Michael Dalal, Alex De Luca and Angel Lopez. In November I performed in a house concert in Tiburon, with views of the Bay and of San Francisco (thanks Anj!). It was a wonderful time -- thank you to those who attended and supported. About 45 folks gathered to hear me play original compositions plus a few covers and "interpretations." Hannah De Los Santos joined me on "Creases." We then socialized and had a sing-along. I'll post photos and video, am running a bit behind. But a meaningful experience, and one which has led to several other gigs.</p>Larry Eberttag:larryebertmusic.com,2005:Post/38074832015-08-06T23:25:23-07:002022-02-19T04:52:07-08:00Flower PianoI recently played in Golden Gate Park as part of the Flower Piano installation.
